Anwar Pervez Shefin was featured in the yearly desk calendar 2025 of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) as a prominent entrepreneur in the engineering industry of Bangladesh.

Anwar Pervez Shefin received BID Award in Gold category in the New York Quality Summit held on 28 May 2012 in the ballroom of Marriott Marquis Hotel, Time Square, New York, USA.

In the leadership of Anwar Pervez Shefin Dr. M. A. Rashid Hall, BUET achieved National Championship in the 13-th National Television Debate Competition of Bangladesh Television (1995-97) and in the final round Shefin was elected the best debater in the competition of BTV in 1997.

In the semifinal round of 13-th National Television Debate Competition of Bangladesh Television (BTV) the debate team of Anwar Pervez Shefin Dr. M. A. Rashid Hall, BUET defeated the opposition and promoted to the Final Round.

In the parliamentary form of debate competition in 1996 Shefin was the leader of the opposition where S M Ziaul Azim performed the role of the honourable Prime Minister as well as the leader of the house.

Now Major General S M Ziaul Azim is working as the honourable Chairman of Rural Electrification Board (REB) under the ministry of Electricity, Energy and Mineral Resources, People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

“সংসার সুখের হয় রমনীর গুনে” – এই বিষয়ের উপরে বিটিভির একটি প্রীতি বিতর্কে আনোয়ার পারভেজ শেফীন । ১৯৯৬ সালে বাংলাদেশ টেলিভিশনের অডিটোরিয়ামে অনুষ্ঠিত এই প্রীতি বিতর্কে শেফীনের সাথে আরও ছিলেন এস এম জিয়াউল আজিম, ডাঃ সাদিয়া ফয়জুন্নিসা, ডাঃ অনুপম হোসাইনসহ আরো দুইজন নারী বিতার্কিক ।

বাংলাদেশ সেনাবাহিনীর সিনিয়র কর্মকর্তা মেজর জেনারেল এস এম জিয়াউল আজিম এখন বাংলাদেশ পল্লী বিদ্যুতায়ন বোর্ডের সম্মানিত চেয়ারম্যান হিসেবে কাজ করছেন ।

আর বিসিএস পররাষ্ট্র ক্যাডারের সিনিয়র কর্মকর্তা ডাঃ সাদিয়া ফয়জুন্নিসা এখন মরক্কোতে বাংলাদেশের রাষ্ট্রদূত হিসেবে কাজ করছেন । এর আগে তিনি ব্রাজিলে বাংলাদেশের রাষ্ট্রদূত এবং তারও আগে নিউইয়র্কে বাংলাদেশের কনসাল জেনারেল হিসেবে দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত ছিলেন ।

ডাঃ অনুপম হোসাইন একজন ক্রীড়া ধারাভাষ্যকার এবং ইলেকট্রনিক্স মিডিয়ায় বিভিন্ন অনুষ্ঠানে এ্যাংকর হিসেবে পরিচিত মুখ ।

Anwar Pervez Shefin was delivering an extempore speech after introduction in front of hundreds of business delegates from 72 countries at Marriott Marquis Hotel, Time Square, USA on 28 May, 2012 in the New York Quality Summit Conference of BID where Shefin joined to receive Award for his company Powerbreeze in Gold Category.
